Sophomores - Theology 2  

 

Semester 1THE MISSION OF JESUS CHRIST 

 

From the creation of the universe to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, this semester will highlight the course of Salvation History in the light of the Paschal Mystery. We will explore Christ's mission of salvation as it applies through history and in our own lives.

 

Semester 2 - JESUS CHRIST’S MISSION CONTINUES IN THE CHURCH

 

 

This semester picks up after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, with the Acts of the Apostles. The continuing mission of the Church continuing the work of Christ in the world is explored over the centuries that lead up to our time.

 

Seniors - Theology 4

 

Semester 1 - LIVING AS A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST IN SOCIETY 

 


The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the Church's social teaching. Students will learn
how Christ's concern for others, especially the poor and needy, is present today in the Church's social
teaching and mission.

Semester 2 - RESPONDING TO THE CALL OF JESUS CHRIST

 

Vocations: Answering God's Call, First Edition
The purpose of this course is to help students to understand the vocations of life: how Christ calls us to
live. Students will learn how all vocations are similar and how they differ. The course is structured
around married life, single life, priestly life, and consecrated life. Students will learn what it means to
live life for the benefit of others and the value in considering a vocation in service to the Christian
community.
