Bonaventure Curriculum and Services

In the Bonaventure Program, a learning strategies approach is used. The goal is for students with learning disabilities to develop study skills that can be integrated and utilized throughout the curriculum. The topics include attention, concentration, organization, memorization, note-taking and test taking techniques.

Services, such as speech therapy, counseling, psycho-educational testing, and hearing and vision consultant services, are offered through referral by the program teacher to the Guidance Department. These services are funded through the Act 89 Program for nonpublic schools.
