General Announcements

Transpasses will be available in the cafeteria again today.  If you did not get your transpass yesterday, this is your last opportunity.

Color game t-shirt designs are due on Monday!  Don’t wait to get your design submitted!

Please complete your college applications.  Watch your deadlines.  If you want your transcripts and counselor recommendations sent to colleges by January 1st, you must have your transcript requests submitted to the Guidance office by December 10th.  If you have any questions, stop by the Guidance office for details.

Aidan Socha, Jessica Kelly, Angela Sorbello, Nick Hagan, Sarah Benson, Grace Tennesen and James Wang should report to Student Affairs today to pick up their theater Candygrams.

From Tim Tuckerman, Student Body President... Next week we will be holding three school spirit days in honor of the Christmas season.

 

  • On Wednesday (12/20), students can wear ties, socks, and bows.
  • On Thursday (12/21), students can wear ugly Christmas sweaters.
  • On Friday (12/22), students can wear a Santa hat.

Clubs and Activities

There will be a general membership NHS meeting on Tuesday after school in the North Lecture Hall for all members.

The Health Careers Club will have a meeting on Monday (12/18) in S313 after 8th period.

Any student interested in joining our new Quiz Bowl team please see Mr. Beyerle.  We already have seven members.  We need three more volunteers to form a team.

Challenge Day 2018 will take place on Friday, January 12th.  If you would like to participate, please stop by Mrs. MacKay’s Office in Guidance during your lunch period to get a permission form by the end of the day today.

Any student interested in attending the March for Life in Washington D.C. on Friday, January 19 please see Father Dalin to get your name on the list.  Space is limited.

Applications for the February 8th to 11th Kairos Retreat are now available.  Please see Father Dalin in the Ministry Office. Seniors who attended the last Kairos Retreat and are interested in being considered for a leadership role in the upcoming Kairos Retreats, please see Father Dalin ASAP to pick up a Kairos Leadership application.

Sports

Congratulations to both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams for their victories last night. Jaquill Stone, Colin Reed, and Glenn Smith led the scoring for the boys while the girls were led by Monee Moore and Annie Cashman.

Congratulations to the girls’ swim team for a dominating 99-62 win over St. Hubert’s yesterday.
