American Heritage Credit Union Scholarship: American Heritage is proud to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors enrolling in an accredited undergraduate program or trade school.   American Heritage Credit Union Scholarship 

Anna M. Vincent Scholarship Trust: Grant awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 and are renewable for up to five years. Apply online at Anna Vincent Scholarship  

The Bensalem Lions Club Scholarship: Seniors residing in Bensalem with verification of acceptance as a full time student at a college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher should come to the guidance office for an application. 

The Bensalem Township Police Benevolent Association Scholarship Com. mittee awards a college scholarship of up to $5,000.00 to a high school senior who resides in Bensalem. For more information and a copy of the application, please stop in the Guidance office.

The Bucks County Community Foundation Scholarship:  Must be a Bucks County resident.  Be accepted as a full time student in college, university or qualifying trade school. Be able to document devotion and service to people, community or family.  Write an essay of 250 to 500 words detailing such devotion to date and how this community/family commitment has influenced you.

City of Philadelphia Scholarship Program: The Scholarship program awards approximately 50 college scholarships each year to high school seniors. Scholarships are $1,000 for each academic year for four consecutive years of full-time enrollment in accredited four year, bachelor degree programs. Students and parents/guardians must reside in Philadelphia.

Colgate-Palmolive Hispanic Scholarship Fund: Log on to: www.colgate.com/hazlau and follow the application process to submit 3 short essays of 500 words or less on a selection of topics. Deadline: CHECK WEBSITE.

Community College of Philadelphia: A new online scholarship application process which allows students to search and apply for multiple scholarships by completing one online application.  Students can visit www.ccp.edu/scholarships to search and complete the application process.

 

Delaware Valley Engineers: The committee is seeking applications from outstanding high school students in the Delaware Valley to receive a $1,000 award and to be recognized at the Awards Luncheon in February. Dunkin Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship: . Must be a high school senior who plans to enroll in a full time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.. First Trust Samuel A. Green Scholarship: Compose an essay that explains how your college education will help you cultivate prosperity in your neighborhood/community.  1st prize - $10,000; 2nd, $5,000; 3rd, $5,000; and 30 additional awards will be given.  

Gates Scholarship: The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. The scholarship will be awarded to 300 top student leaders each year with the intent of promoting their academic excellence through college graduation, and providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Imagine America High School Application Process: Any student planning to attend one of the trade schools listed below can receive a $1,000 scholarship!  Go to www.imagine-america.org to apply.

John F. Kennedy Profile In Courage Essay Contest: Applicant must write an original and creative essay of 1,000 words or less that demonstrates an understanding of the political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage. For more information go to www.jfklibrary.org

John McKee Scholarship: The McKee scholarship committee offers scholarships of up to $25,000 to qualified high school senior students who meet the following criteria:

  • Male, 18 years of age or younger
  • Student planning to attend a 4 year college
  • Student’s biological/adoptive father is deceased or permanently absent
  • Student in need of financial assistance
  • Resident of the five county area

If you believe you are eligible to apply for this scholarship, please come to the Guidance office for further information. Deadline: March 1st.

Kelly Rooney Memorial Scholarship: The Foundation seeks to provide a one-time scholarship of $10,000 to a high school senior who lost his or her mother to cancer and who will be attending an accredited four-year college or university. For more info contact Save Second Base –[email protected]

Maguire Scholarship: Any senior who is applying to a Maguire Scholars Partner School may become a Maguire college scholar.  Students should contact the college/university in which they plan to apply and request an application required to become a Maguire scholar at their college/university. Philadelphia Federal Credit Union: Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who are members in good standing of the Credit Union. An excellent opportunity to open an account and become eligible. Philadelphia Credit Union Scholarship  

Prudential Spirit of Community Awards: Prestigious award for youth volunteers in school and community.  Applications and more information available at Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. Deadline November 2, 2023 (must be no older than 18 by entry deadline).

PSECU Scholarship Program: Six $8,000 scholarships are available to any student who is a member of PSECU  or who is interested in joining.  This is a PA approved Credit Union.

United Steelworkers / Hugh Carcella Scholarship Program: Applicants must be a child of a member of the United Steelworkers, District 10 (Eastern) or a child of a retired or deceased member of an affiliated local union. Applications must be requested by students through participating local unions.
