Archbishop Ryan High School
It is with a mixture of sadness, pride and joy that we make the announcement that Nancy Kurtz - Assistant Principal of Academic Affairs - will be leaving Ryan. She has accepted the position of Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, effective November 5, 2018.
Nancy graduated from Ryan in 1988, and returned to teach in 2002. She has held the Assistant Principal role since July 2015. Although she is leaving the building, Nancy will still be connected in her new role - and will be #AlwaysAR.

"I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to work so closely the last four years with Nancy, strengthening the academics program at Archbishop Ryan and increasing our reading scores above the national average. She brings to the central office a strong educational background that is always student-centered. I look forward to working with her in the many years ahead in a new capacity."
