Archbishop Ryan Sports Update

On Monday, December 15 both the Boys' and Girls' swim teams battled Bonner-Prendie.

The Girls' Swim Team had a huge victory!  In every relay the girls were victorious by body lengths over Bonner-Prendie.  

Sarah McGee won her 200 IM in a four way brawl against 2 Bonner-Prendie girls.  

Tara Reed came in a strong third.  Shea McKinstry won her 50 freestyle and 100 fly with strong times.  

Nahdia Engle won her 500 free with a comfortable lead.     

Natalie Rizzo and Sydney, a freshman, both followed suit!

Jenna Sheffold dominated her 100 free and 100 back with a great time in each! 

Kacey Beatrice won her 100 breast along with Joann Clark in a amazing second place finish! 

Overall, EVERY girl contributed and we pulled out an amazing win!

The Boys Swim Team had a tough loss to Bonner- Prendie, but there was some amazing swims! 

To start it off, the boys won the 200 meter medley relay that consisted of Brian Yost, Jack Silwa, John Goncalves, and Connor Gripmann. 

Jack Silwa's effort was not unnoticed as he came in 2nd in a very close race in the 200 meter freestyle and triumphed in the 100 meter breast along with Gripmann in a strong second. 

Gripmann won the nail biting 50 meter free with a best time. 

Louie Marano and Frank Masino greatly contributed in the 500 meter freestyle, showing terrific strength and perseverance to pull out great swims and good places.

Brian Yost swam the 100 meter back in a tight race and he pulled ahead at the end to bring home the win.

Goncalves won his 100 fly by a body length and pulled out a great time.

Overall the boys did a great job and can truly pack a punch!
