American Government & Politics (Period 4)

Course Description

The American Government & Politics course is designed to offer both a historical perspective on early American history along with it's influences on the foundation of our government. Much of the course is predicated on key constitutional issues/questions/discussion. 
 
That said, the course was designed to focus on broader themes of American history. Historical thinking skills are paramount and emphasized throughout the year. Take a look at the College Board's Overview of Historical Thinking standards.
