Congratulations to the Class of 2021!
Many of you have reached out and are submitting your Acceptance letters and Scholarship information to the Guidance Office. This is great news!
All Acceptance Letters and Scholarship/Grant information needs to be submitted to the Guidance Office. Do not wait until you have received all of your responses from prospective colleges. As you receive your letters please forward them to us.. You can scan and email or take a picture and email them to Mrs. Fuller at cfuller@arhs.org . She is keeping the List and will be sharing the updates on the ARHS website

Minding Your Mind
Incidence of anxiety and depression are on the rise among adolescents, teens, and young adults during the COVID-19 crisis. Some are turning to destructive behaviors, including substance use, in an attempt to cope. The presenter will share his personal story of parenting children with mental health and substance use issues and how the family was able to find a path to hope and recovery during a global pandemic.

Mr. Ron Felder from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency(PHEAA) conducted a one hour webinar for Seniors and Parents Important information regarding applying for Financial Aid, grants, and scholarships for college was presented. Summer Program

 

Temple University Summer Research Program -We are currently looking for High School Juniors interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM field. Underrepresented minority and first-generation students are strongly encouraged to apply. Students will receive hands-on research training, mentorship from an established investigator, participation in skill-building workshops, and present research at a symposium in addition to a stipend of $500.00.
