what I love most about Archbishop Ryan High School is that when you're passing by on Academy Road it looks like any other high school but come inside there's something different something worthwhile that makes us so special seal you can say it was because of the people I met the teachers who helped me something that makes you feel like you're part of something life-long Learners so have our faculty members and who work alongside them methodologies of change as new strategies and our partnership with the Penn literacy network has impacted our education we always have remained true to who we are that we are in Catholic School serving students of Northeast Philadelphia Ina are they feel like consistent with our Catholic teaching that do you ever do to you gets back and I've been very fortunate because of my experience at Ryan and I think going to a Catholic School faith is a big part and it leaves you and helps get through your days all the tough hard times why is where my family and I want the best for them so I've sent them to the Archbishop Ryan family what are the things that I've noticed that has stayed the same over the how many years I've been here is our mission to do whatever it takes to reach each and every kid kid's change society changes good teaching doesn't change and that's the heart of everything we do here AP courses so many honors courses right now as a senior enrolled in the Holy Family University dual-credit program earning Archbishop Ryan credits as well as Holy Family University credits for half the price members of the English departments Archbishop Ryan High School created a force digital literacy brand new revolutionary cutting-edge course designed to help students understand how to use the turn it properly absolutely think that the technology we're always coming in with new programs like right now I use Google Classroom there's computers available turn on school so whenever short of Technology  Ryan really promotes being engaged in extracurricular activities 3 learn a lot of Y social skills and how to deal with people in interpersonal skills and all different things that are very important going forward in both your personal and professional life good because people have different interests at whatever you want to do you can do Ryan's here to help you with that or coaches push us really hard but you want to do the best you can be and they want us to be the best we can I am a art center for the Archdiocese music departments in the city some students may not be into sports or be Athletics students and Abel's them to express themselves through a different perspective play our I think that the biggest meth floating around is that going to a coed school may be distracting or not being able to learn at a co-ed school I think completely not true just because you feel different things definitely recommend Ryan to the you know 7th and 8th graders they're really going to prepare you for the real world after college they know that you're coming from a school that is preparing it and they know that you're going to succeed there and they want you to go to that college I am AR we are a narcissism high school and yet we provide an experience that you cannot get at other private schools you can't get a public schools just going back to that mission and our Catholic identity those are the intangibles that really make Archbishop Ryan the right choice a school offers for years and music for years in art a program for students with diagnosed learning disabilities and a partnership with Holy Family University by the student can earn dual-credit for their classes all of that is available here at Archbishop Ryan what is bigger than themselves we want people to be part of the Ryan family and that means something to us and it shows I believe every kid you have one like this
