Transfer Process

Archbishop Ryan High School Transfer Process
Archbishop Ryan High School welcomes qualified transfer students!  

 

The process for transferring is as follows:

 

1.  The parents/guardians of the prospective transfer student must contact the Admissions Office and notify the Admissions Director that their child is interested in transferring to Archbishop Ryan.

 

Students are encouraged to take a Shadow Visit Day to experience a day in the life of a student at Archbishop Ryan.

2.  The student must fill out and submit the Archbishop Ryan Application along with the application fee to the Admissions Office.

 

3.  The student must submit the following documents to the Academic Affairs Office:

  • An essay indicating why the student wants to join Archbishop Ryan High School
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher at your current school
  • A copy of the most recent report card

4.  Once all the documents are submitted, the student's applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

 

5.  An interview will be scheduled with the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs.

6.  Upon acceptance, the student will receive a letter of acceptance welcoming the student to Archbishop Ryan High School.
